Privacy Statement
ZipClip works on your computer, for you. Nothing about you is collected, and nothing is sent anywhere except the requests needed to download your own videos.
Effective date: August 6, 2026
The short version
ZipClip does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no cloud services. The only network activity the app performs is connecting to Twitch to check for and download VODs from the channel you configure.
What the app stores on your computer
- Your videos. Downloaded VODs, the trimmed results, and your intro clip live in folders on your own machine that you choose. Intermediate working files are deleted automatically when processing finishes.
- Settings and history. Your configuration (channel, folders, schedule) and the list of VODs already processed are stored in local files so the app knows what it has already done. They never leave your computer.
What the app never does
- It never connects to anything other than Twitch, and only to download your VODs.
- It never sends your videos, settings, or any other information anywhere.
- It never touches your YouTube account. Uploading is handled by whatever software you already use.
- It never runs analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting of its own.
- It never shows ads or uses third-party tracking of any kind.
